Common Task is a short speculative film I produced in collaboration with media artist Konstantin Mitrokhov during a research fellowship at the design think tank The New Normal run by Benjamin Bratton.
Common Task was featured and screened internationally including Beyond Change, FHNW, Basel; Festival de Film Invisible 2017, HEAD, Genève; On and off the grid, Hackers & Designers Summer Academy 2017, Amsterdam; The New Normal Showcase 2017, Strelka Institute, Moscow, CLOT Magazine and Strelka Magazine.
My master thesis Applied Fiction – An Object-Based Exploration of Possible Futures was granted by Zurich University of the Arts (2014) as well as nominated for the Design Prize Switzerland – Rado Star Prize Young Talent Design Research (2015).
I’ve run numerous workshops in the context of speculative design and futures research at institutions such as Depot Basel, Hochparterre, Zeppelin University, Zurich University of the Arts, Bern University of the Arts and the W.I.R.E
You can download an abstract of Applied Fiction here, or read my articles published in ChangeX ( German), swissfuture (German) or Design far beyond 2015.
